GRIZZLY BEARD COMPANY LLC

ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Last Updated: March 11, 2026  |  Effective Date: March 11, 2026

Grizzly Beard Company LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards in building and maintaining our website.

1. Legal Framework and Applicability

This Accessibility Statement is provided in accordance with applicable United States law, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title III, which requires places of public accommodation — including e-commerce websites and online retail establishments — to provide full and equal access to their goods and services to people with disabilities.

As an e-commerce retailer, Grizzly Beard Company LLC is subject to ADA Title III. We are committed to meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which represents the de facto technical standard recognized by U.S. courts, the Department of Justice (DOJ), and international accessibility bodies for private business websites.

We also acknowledge the DOJ's 2024 Final Rule under ADA Title II establishing WCAG 2.1 AA as the baseline accessibility standard for government digital content, and we apply these same standards voluntarily to our commercial website as best practice and in anticipation of future Title III rulemaking.

2. Conformance Status

Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform, which provides built-in accessibility features aligned with WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. We are actively working toward full conformance and consider this an ongoing commitment rather than a one-time effort.

Current conformance status: Partially conformant. This means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are committed to identifying and resolving accessibility barriers on an ongoing basis.

3. Technical Specifications and Standards

We use the following technical standards to guide accessibility on our website:

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA

WCAG 2.1 AA is organized around four core principles, often called POUR:

  • Perceivable: Information and user interface components are presented in ways that users can perceive, including through screen readers, captions, and sufficient color contrast.

  • Operable: All functionality is available via keyboard navigation, and users have enough time to read and complete tasks.

  • Understandable: Content and interface operation are understandable — labels, instructions, and error messages are clear.

  • Robust: Content is compatible with current and future assistive technologies, including screen readers, braille displays, and speech input tools.

We also reference Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act as supplementary guidance, which governs federal agency digital content and is widely adopted as a best-practice benchmark for private sector accessibility.

4. Accessibility Features on Our Website

We have implemented or are working toward the following accessibility features:

Visual Accessibility

  • Sufficient color contrast ratios between text and background elements

  • Text that can be resized up to 200% without loss of functionality

  • No content that relies solely on color to convey information

  • Alt text provided for meaningful product images and graphics

Navigation and Interaction

  • Keyboard-accessible navigation throughout the site

  • Visible focus indicators for keyboard users

  • Skip navigation links to bypass repetitive content

  • Consistent navigation structure across pages

Content and Forms

  • Descriptive labels for all form fields, including checkout and contact forms

  • Clear and descriptive error messages with instructions for correction

  • Headings and page structure that reflect logical reading order

  • Plain language used throughout product descriptions and policies

Multimedia

  • We work to provide text alternatives for non-text content

  • Video content will include captions where applicable

5. Known Limitations

We acknowledge that as a small business operating on the Wix.com platform, some areas of our website may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Known or potential limitations include:

  • Third-party content embedded on our site (e.g., payment processors, social media widgets) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA — these are controlled by their respective providers

  • Some older PDF documents or product information sheets may not be fully accessible — we are working to remediate these on an ongoing basis

  • Certain Wix platform components may have inherent accessibility constraints that we are working within and monitoring as Wix releases updates

We are committed to remediating known issues as quickly as reasonably practicable and prioritizing fixes that have the greatest impact on users with disabilities.

6. Our Ongoing Accessibility Efforts

  • Regularly reviewing our website for accessibility barriers using automated scanning tools and manual review

  • Monitoring Wix platform updates and applying new accessibility features as they become available

  • Evaluating third-party tools and services for accessibility compliance before integrating them into our site

  • Training ourselves and any team members involved in content creation on accessibility best practices

  • Maintaining this Accessibility Statement and updating it as our compliance status changes

7. Assistive Technology Compatibility

Our website aims to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers, including JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver

  • Keyboard-only navigation

  • Browser zoom and text resizing tools

  • High contrast mode and other operating system accessibility settings

  • Speech recognition software such as Dragon NaturallySpeaking
